Captain Kirks

Located on the edge of the Target Express parking lot, Captain Kirks is perfect for those looking for an easy, relaxing, and no fuss experience. This coffee stand has limited seating, so grab your coffee for a stroll down Fern Street. From espresso to açaí bowls you are sure to find something to fit your taste buds!

Café Madeleine

Venturing a little bit further into Golden Hill, you’ll find Café Madeleine. Upon first glance, this cute café looks like something out of a movie set. Get yourself a delicious cup of Illy coffee or a made to order panini, and take in the French cafés atmosphere.

coffee studying

With many indoor tables and outlets for your laptops, this location is a hub for those looking to get some work done. This spot can get a bit busy so you may have to wait for a table.

Another staple in the Golden Hill area? Krakatoa! This spot is also very popular for studying, but offers a happy hour daily from 3pm-6pm. In addition to coffee you’ll also find a selection of mimosas and sangria. Occasionally you’ll find Krakatoa hosting small events so keep an eye on their events calendar.
