Mother Goose Parade
Did you know that this parade is the largest in San Diego? Featuring marching bands, floats, and holiday cheer, it’s a great way to kick off the seasonal festivities. Another bonus? It’s free to attend!
November 24, 1PM
Balboa Park expects to attract more than 375,000 visitors over their two-day holiday festival. If you’re interested in stepping inside the museums, complimentary admission will run from 5PM–9PM. Otherwise you’ll find plenty of food and fun to indulge in throughout the park!
December 6, 3PM–11PM | December 7, 12PM–11PM
North Park Toyland Parade & Festival
This free parade is held on University Avenue, between Utah and Iowa Street. Local schools, vintage cars, and Santa in a fire truck are coming together to bring you and your family holiday joy.
December 8, 10AM–3PM
San Diego Bay Parade of Lights
This year marks the 48th annual event. Taking place over two weekends, this year’s theme is Comic-Con on the Bay. Be sure to check the parade route to plan your evening accordingly!
December 8 & 15, 5PM
If you want to pretend you live in a winter wonderland there’s quite a few rinks around the city to transport you. See the San Diego Tourism Authority website for a whole roundup of rinks from Coronado to North County Inland.
